Congratulations on the new blog Linda! You're off to a great start!

The way I do the cards so they are side by side is to add the html code one after the other without any brakes. 2 horizontal cards and one vertical card or 4 vertical cards fit just right to make a line. The blog will automatically kick the rest down to the next line for you without you have to do a thing. I have a Mac too and it works just fine for this.

I hope you don't mind if I make a suggestion? I really like what you wrote on your first post about GCU and it might be nice to have that stuck to the top of your blog. You may already know how to do that but if not try this: Copy your GCU message and then go to your blog dashboard. Click the Layout tab. Then click Add a Gadget right under your Header or over on the side bar, whichever you prefer. A pop up window will appear. Scroll down until you see the one for Text. Click the little plus sign and paste your message in the box. Hit save and your done!

Also, Thanks for including some of my cards on your new blog. Smiley

Linda..looking good, you've convinced me!

I am joining the party!  Cheesy If everyone thinks this sounds OK.

I am currently working on a blog which I think I am going to call 'Got Bridesmaids?' This is my favorite category and I love to design for it and keep up with the most.
It is probably going to take me a few days in the least to get this up and running but I am getting to it any chance I can.

My thought is we have an extensive wedding collection and each page brings so many choices. I thought todays busy bride might appreciate an at a glance small selection of a particular style or color. It provides an opportunity for some of the lesser seen cards to have their day too and be showcased with other complimentary cards (it seems that brides often buy 'in a theme' rather than all the same)

So my plan is to start with featuring a few stores that offer wedding collections, bridesmaid specifically at first, and then we shall open up into other areas down the road. For example cards in similar styles together, classic/elegant, contemporary, florals, animals, themes you get the idea.
Then I shall branch out from there.

I presume all the folks on this thread who have OK'd are game to use, if anyone else is interested let me know through here or email me through my store and I shall try to get a list set up. If you don't appear on the first store features don't worry I shall work you in as we go along that may become a monthly feature??

Ohhhhh what am I getting into now!!! Grin Grin Grin

That sounds like an awesome idea Pamela! Can't wait to see the blog when you get it up and running.
And of coarse, anyone is always welcome to use my cards.

I went to see your Blog and it is looking quite fine. I too like the moving fish.   I see too that Flip E-cards are back again so I will need to go ck that out. Thanks for the heads up in the Blog on that topic.  So many here are talented in the many digital technologies avail out there.  I am curious as to how you chose which Blogging Site-format to pick from out there.  Is there any light you can share with me-everyone like me with less experience as to how go about choosing the right Blogging site from the get go.  Are some more user friendly than others and such?   I understand if you can not assist here too.  Your clearly a very busy person and owe me nothing of the sort..  I just thought I would ask you this.

I am sorry if I left the impression I apparently did. Not my intention at all.  I have been watching all of you more successful people here trying to get a better grip on this here and help myself more.  I greatly appreciate and value all the things you have helped me with already and I know people are busy plus assisting the newbie is not always such fun.. lol..   Your kind act yesterday was far more important than my little questions.   I will go look at blogger and see if I can start from there.  Thank you so much Denise!  Smiley))))

Hi all,

You have some nice blog’s out there, for the people that have posted links I have given you a thumbs-up on stumbleupon, I am happy to do this for anyone as long as your site is safe for viewing in the work place.

I have just started working on this one http://martinspixs.blogspot.com in the last few days. At first I just grouped the cards like birthdays, weddings and so on with a bit of a sales pitch. My last post I told people how they could do a virtual trip around the world buying cards of places they would like to visit and then asked them to find out where I had been, as a way to encourage them to click on the cards.

I am only using cards from artists that have said it is ok in this forum and I have started following people on blogspot that have left links, it might help with ranking. Wink If your blog is new do not forget to invite the search engines to come and index you at the links below.

Hi Lj.

As Denise has said blogger is easy to use and you can use HTML code in your posts, some sites like wordpress you have to pay. I also find it easier to manage more than one blog with blogger as Pamela has touched on, having a blog for just one type of card weddings, birthdays and so on is probably the way to go.  Wink

Thanks Martin!  I am brand new at Blogs across the board.   Not yet a Twitter or Face book girl.  All of these things very alien to me still.  I do know it is necessary for me to get familiar with it all then jump in if I hope to achieve any level of success.   What the HTML code is all about..  lol.. well..  not familiar with that either.  Still trying to fiqure out how to add links in my pages here..   Roll Eyes  However.   I am dedicated to X amount of hours per day learning-applying myself to reach those goals.. I am checking out everyone's from here and reading online and the such..   I will be heading to yours next break today.  Thanks again. Looks like Blogger is a good place for me to start.  Plus.. Free is cool~  Smiley

Hi Pamela, Smiley
What a great idea!
I would love to have any of my Wedding including Bridesmaids cards in your blog. My cards are very different from the more popular current trend, but there are customers interested in them out there, because I have sold them in the US and even in England.
You can check out Artcor7 shop and see if you would be interested in pick any of them for your blog. I would be thrilled to have that chance. Cool
