You never know......
Mar 10th, 2010, 10:37am

Hi  Smiley

I sold this card today  Cool
http://artist.greetingcarduniverse.com/shopping/zoom.asp?pid=355105&w=1& ref=cb_large_view

It made me smile because this is a very early card of mine and it's first sale! I really didn't expect it would after all this time, figured my sense of humor was too silly on this one!  Roll Eyes

Thanks to the person who bought it and hope it brings a smile to them and the recipient as it did to me!

Anyone else sold a card that made them smile?

Pamela

Hi Pam,
I think that's a very cute card, and of course it probably has to fit a certain kind of situation, but when it does and the buyer meets the perfect card, it's a winner!    Here's hoping now it's had some exposure, it'll sell more!  Grin

Congrats Pam!  I think your card is brilliant  Grin  I just love it!

This was one of my first creations and had been completely ignored, until a couple of months ago when someone ordered 100 of them.  I had a good laugh at that thinking it just wasn't going to sell  Grin

Oh, Pamela, that IS an adorable card!  I like silly! And I like oranges, even though nothing really rhymes with orange.

Pamela,

Love the card but then I would - most of my cards are a little silly and have puns! I sold the following, it was an early card, too. I had a lot of fun making the body hair!!!

What a sweet orange card..love the flowers/weeds card as well.
When artists suggest we delete old cards, I`m thinking..Oh No, Roll Eyes I sell quite a few older cards..and as Pamela posted..You never know.
Congrats Ladies on your card sales!

Candace.... Grin too funny! You did a great job with that body hair!

Thanks Janet Lee and yes I'd say hang onto those older cards, except for the ones that really make you cringe and would rather not be associated with anymore...we do improve with age and practice! Grin

Congrats Pamela!
This is an awesome card Simple, extremely rich content, humorous. It has the all package of success. I am sure you will sell much more of them. It is a jewel hidden in the noise of GCU number of cards.

Perhaps there's been a shuffle up of old cards because I had noticed that five of my sales in the last week were of my older cards that no one has ever bought before...I was a little surprised at which cards they were.  Shocked

Maybe the older cards have been 'out there' so long they have a higher ranking? I wonder?
