Hi Catherine,

Go to your Manage Store Admin Page.  Down towards the bottom you'll see Card Widgets, click on that.  Choose your widget then copy the code.

Go to your blog and insert an HTML Module, paste the code and it should work.

Hope that helps!

If I put a widget to someone else's card on a blog, do I make the seller's commission on any purchase made through their widget?  Do I have to sign up separately as a seller for that?  Do I make the seller's commission if I use my own widget for my cards as well?

I have never had the opportunity to use them, but am about at that point for both ways above, and need clarification.
Thanks!

The wiki has a good section on widgets and answers a number of these questions:
http://wiki.greetingcarduniverse.com/index.php/Community#Card_Widget

A better option for you Sandra is to create a nice banner ad for her store but embed your artist code within the link.  Then you would get the credit. (I believe!)

If you are a fancy-pants, you could make an animated banner ad from some of her card-fronts and essentially emulate what the widget does in a way.

To add to Tom's suggestion.  I have both my artist's account which gives me a widget I use to promote my own cards and then using my 2nd email address, I have a Seller's Account which I use to create a widget for promoting other work on GCU.

If you want to promote specific and different artists/cards each on their own unique widgets, that you can not do here and that is where what Tom mentioned would be a solution for you.
