LIVE - GCU Facebook Application & FlipEcards

Congratulations! Your cards are now for sale on FaceBook as of yesterday, 2/22 and as new FlipEcards too. In fact we've already sold some FlipEcards!

This first version is to make an introduction, test the waters and get some good feedback from the user base. We will be keeping a close eye on this application and making adjustments & improvements.

Keep in mind that the typical FB user is not in shopping mode, but most inclined to send one item to a friend. For that reason and others we have not yet put a lot of emphasis on categories and navigation. The goal is to encourage all shoppers to use the Search function.

As usual, Artists will receive sales notification emails. For sales originating from the GCU FB application you'll notice the source as:
The source of this order was the GCU Facebook Application.

Lastly in the email to identify FlipEcard sales look for:
Product ID: ##### (FlipEcard)
as well as
Artist Commissions: $0.30 (30% - $0.30 per FlipEcard)

We have to check the box if we do NOT want to be included. That is true for both. I sold 1 flipe card, and I didn't do anything. It was fun to see the flip-e notification! One card - 30 cents - I'll take it!

I think the ecards are an excellent idea, but it brings up a lot of questions

Also, I do not see them mentioned in the GCU store fronts.
Are they mentioned there and I am just going blind, or is there a plan to include the info in stores?

Can we create a link from our store to the ecard application on face book??

and can we place on our facebook pages a link to the GCU ecards ?

We are purchasing traffic and sending 500 to 800 visitors a day to our GCU store and I would like to sell then flip ecards also when i figure out how to do it .

I do not see where I can add my store to this service. My "Flip card" status is defaulted to nothing applicable in the global choice's page and I do allow for e-cards.. Which part of this am I missing or are we automatically added for the Flip?

Are we doing this through a different site like big dates? I wanted to tell all my friends about the ecard option, but I can't even find it myself! Are you guys still working out glitches?
