I am getting "unable to connect" also....that's only if I click where it says "Add this widget to your facebook profile"....you can still add the widget by adding the code yourself to FB but only works as flash or flash only style options not java.....FB doesn't allow java...

So there are now two conversations going on here.  The initial post and topic that this thread will remain focused on is the card selling widgets.  These are the HTML based widget found under the "Card Widget" link under the "Community" section of the "Administrative Settings" portion of your account.  They designed for you to be able to promote your card stores on your websites and blogs and have no relation to Facebook.
 
There is now a secondary conversation about the Facebook card widgets, which does not in any way relate to this particular topic. We are aware that these are not functioning properly, and now that we have fixed the Flash Card Widgets, we are going to be addressing this next issue.  There will be a separate thread related to the Facebook widgets when there is more information available regarding those.  
 
Again, with a celebratory WOOO HOOO, and a great big pat on the back to the Programmers, the Flash Card Widgets are working again!
