Punctuation
Feb 10th, 2010, 6:02pm

I don't mean to quibble but after much ado, I received a return notice on one of my cards. Seems I did not add an apostrophe to Valentine.  Now, I realize proper grammar and punctuation is important. However, we have done this battle before.  If you do some research online or offline, you will see that holidays are often used in this country WITHOUT the apostrophe by the big folks and the little folks.  I imagine when I use my common and preferred only small case letters on the inside card, it must surely cause the reviewers to sweat and swoon.
The long delay in reviews at present are now compounded by a reviewer's internal battle with an apostrophe on an customer editable part of the card. It's a valentine so it can sit in resubmit until next year.  It was an afterthought but it stood a wee little chance when first submitted. Now, I really don't care. It will make money on stock until next year. But still, I am simply making a point.

and as a p.s.
I am surely glad the 200 cards I sold in that big order required only photo edit in short order or I'd probably still be spitting nails over the profit split down into pittance that way.  Grin

Oh boy do I hear you.
I had a heap returned for edits. Why ? Because I didn't put a space between the . and P in St.Patricks.
Never have and it's a pretty pathetic reason for not approving cards  Roll Eyes
