how long for approval of card? (Read 678 times)

Gina_139917 GCU Newbies artist Posts: 21	how long for approval of card? Jan 29^th, 2010, 12:14pm How long does it take for a summitted card to come back approved? And, is it a bad idea to go ahead and bypass that approval process, as I see it is possible to do so?

if the reviewers are slow it can take 1-2 days, busy times can take around a week give or take a day....

If a customer has requested your card you can click fast track and the reviewers will get to it sooner or you can by pass the review but it puts it into your private gallery which you then have to email a link to your particular customer in order for them to purchase it as it will not appear in your store....but if there are any typos etc.. on the card and the customer returns it, you may be responsible for the $ lost, as you choose to bypass the review.....

so my advice is to just sit back and wait for the reviewers......I know it can be tough....I have struggled with the waiting game myself at times.......

Hi Gina,

Just to add to Christine's response, here is a clip from the GCU Wiki

WAIVE REVIEW CHECKBOX - You can opt to waive the review process for this Private Card so that it will instantly be available. This is useful for custom cards that you have a customer waiting to purchase. By waiving the review process you in effect state that you agree to the associated terms and will be responsible for the cards quality.

I don't believe waived cards will be allowed to be available to the public, and if a customer purchases the card/cards and are unhappy with them, you may very well be liable to reimburse the customer.

Once again, I strongly recommend you read through the Wiki here at GCU and even better the GCU 101, you'll get some great information.
