Brian_139438 GCU Newbies artist Posts: 6	Non-uploads Dec 23^rd, 2009, 4:06pm I've tried a few times over the past two days to upload files. After the usual time the 'shh we're working' message disappears but no images (and no error message) appear- nothing. I've logged out and in again, triple-checked the files (size and type) and tried again. Nothing. Argghh.

I just uploaded a card when I read your message to see if it worked on my end and no problem at all. There simply has to be something not right with those images. That is the only time I've ever had that happen to me at GCU. Size, type something isn't right on your end

It's always possible- but I triple-checked that they are jpg (I use png everywhere else) under 3.85Mb, etc etc. I tried 3 with this log-in and 2 totally different images with another one. Nothing. And no error message (I once had a too-large file and I got told!).

My internet connection (cable modem) is fine- uploaded larger files for one of the galleries I use.

I will try once more.

And now all those files uploaded perfectly (both shops) - so I have cards pending at last

Hi Brian,

I suddenly started having that problem as well. I was using Explorer for a browser. This was awhile back. I had to start using Mozilla Firefox to upload with Greeting Card Universe (and still have to) even though I have no problems with Explorer on my other sites. You may want to try Mozella. If you don't have it, you can upload it free. rosiecards

I found that i could upload by making the files smaller, even though they were within the 3.85 limit to start with. I saved them a level 11 jpg, about 2 mg files, and they uploaded fine. I have had no problems with the larger files recently, it was just a temporary glitch.

Hi Brian,
Sorry to hear that you're having trouble. If your files are right at 3.85MB that might be the problem. You'll want them to be smaller than 3.85MB. If you continue to have trouble can you email me one of the images as an attachment so that we can test it on our end. You can email it to shaun@bigdates.com
