Search by Card ID
Dec 9th, 2009, 1:10pm

Hi Everyone,

We've made a change to GCU's search engine so that you can simply enter the card id in the search box now, instead of typing something like "sku 512332" to pull up a particular card.

Please feel free to try it out and let us know if you see any strange behavior.

Shaun

Will miss that mysterious prefix, but like this very much. Saw some strange behavior (but not here)!

Many thanks,

Joan

I tried it out...works GREAT for the cards that are in my "Regular Gallery", but does not work for cards in my "Private Gallery".  When I use it to search for a card in my "Private Gallery" I get this:

Sorry!  No greeting cards are found for:  519403

Send a Request to our Artists
Please tell us more about what you are looking for below. Be specific! (what is the occasion, how old is the recipient, etc.). We'll forward your request to our artist community (expect a response within 24 to 48 hours):

Nice idea though...I am on a Mac using Safari if that has anything to do with the issue. undecided

Onsite search has always ignored Private cards.

BTW...you can enter a string of product id numbers which can be helpful when you're looking to find more than one card  Smiley

For example:
528235, 528234, 528229, 528219, 528216   (with or without commas)
