Why Is Support 99.9% of the Posts
Nov 24th, 2009, 3:25pm

Clearly there are issues when that is the percentage. I know folks are working on it, but at other PODs the main categories are artists helping artists.

My real question has to do with approval time. Is everyone waiting for weeks or is it just me?  Is everyone clicking customer request and moving me to back of the line?

Hi Pete

No with the holiday season it's going to get hard work now, they have so so many cards to review, I wait a long time as do most people, or all I should say, you can check the numbers on the cards that are in the new area with your own and see the time frame and ammounts, there will be so many now uploading like mad, and with Thanksgiving Holiday's for the staff it will be a little more patience I'm afraid Sad

You are not shoved to the back of the pile though, we bombard them at christmas and holiday time, they do ask us to do the cards month before but we are naughty and do them all at once when the weather changes and we feel more christmasy. I try so hard now to say, ok they won't be for this year, but they are ready for next year and keep on designing. I am sure they will get arround to you soon though.

Technically we should be on Valentine's and other outside USA Greetings, but we feel Christmasy so its hard  Grin

You have beautiful cards like stepping back in time, wonderful Smiley hope you sell oodles.

Hope you get reviewed soon

hugs
Moonie

Hi Pete, Smiley

GCU support is probably one of the most used threads on the forum here because we have exactly that here, support, from the admins at GCU. Issues do arise and are addressed, they work with us, we work with them. It actually is a good thing. Smiley

As far as card review time, Tanya explained it beautifully and they do have a new reviewer just starting so it is being addressed.

Good luck with the new store!
Pamela

Welcome to GCU Pete,

No, there are not a lot of problems at GCU, its just that the forum is the only place for new folks to get answers and for others to discuss possible changes we'd like to propose.  If you don't wish to read posts about helping people who need a better understanding of how things work...then you can make different choices in the Fourm Notification setup and only participate in the Artist Chatter and some of the other threads.

I get completely lost and irritated in the Zazzle forum because I can't even be notified of a thread I want to follow. So we all have our preferences.  At GCU if you have a question or are frustrated because you don't know how something works, this is where you place your thoughts, so yes on the GCU SUPPORT THREAD its all about support.

There are so many posts in the support section because GCU are so responsive and helpful. They really do work with us, and listen to what we say. It is a two way thing, and because of it the site keeps getting better and better.
Artist helping artist can, on some sites, be like the blind leading the blind. (I am thinking of stock photography sites in particular).
