Glad you liked the promotional email! Credits to Eugenia Bacon on that featured card. We hope the promo drums up some great photo card business. So far we've been very pleased with the response to the Custom Card Request feature.
Taking it one step further we'd like to encourage artists to get even more creative with their photo card designs. This is really where we will differentiate ourselves from the other photo card companies who have wonderful tools and a great selection of designs. GCU's offering is not a do-it-yourself card for shoppers but a unique, custom, artist created card.
We'd like to encourage a new concept - Your Face Goes Here Photo Cards where your design has strategically placed spots for photo faces.
Imagine fun cards that would put the shopper's own image, their family or even pet's images...
As reindeer pulling a sleigh
As Ruldolf with a shiny, bright red nose
A heavenly Angel gracing the top of a tree
A group of bundled up Merry Carolers
Mrs & Mrs Claus
Santa ready to plunge down the chimney
An entire Snow family, names & all
For those up to the challenge, the possibilities are ENDLESS! Go for it, get a little crazy! And the fun certainly doesn't have to stop with Christmas.
Think about...
St. Patty's - make someone a lucky leprechaun
Valentine's - make someone cupid, or on a sexy body
Easter - make them the Easter bunny, chicks or good eggs
4th of July - make someone lady liberty herself!
Presidents Day - put them on Mt. Rushmore
Thanksgiving - make them pilgrims, indians, the poor turkey
and more!
What am I talking about?... See my Holiday card a few years ago designed by GCU's own NiecyCatz:

Let's make this a real challenge. I personally will choose one of our GCU Photo Cards as my very own family card this year. I will choose it on Friday, November 20th.
Good luck & happy creating!
