REITERATION
Nov 7th, 2009, 1:06pm

Reiterating the desire for the visual display and appearance of a random viewing of cards again. A smorgasbord, if you will.

So that the beauty that exists within the whole not be restrained or lost by the confines of a system, a box, notions of what beauty is or is not, preset rules, regulations, conveniences, the volume of cards available, or any competitive and self serving devices that up one's work to the front including massive duplication of one's work so that a single image appears multiple times over, slighting rare gems that are not popping up so frequently.

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, how can one know it if it is always being withheld from viewing?

No harm meant here to anyone's method of production.  There is beauty in your dilligence and a graciousness in your giving.  I am only highlighting single beautiful cards not being lost in the middle of the haystack that is available.

Well beauty is in the eye of the beholder, multiple cards are not really meant to be produced as a push forward, you have to discriminate what is the correct card to push production into multiples, not to go forward in a race, so those who make multiples, myself including do it because it's a suitable card in our opinion and has to reach a lot of folks.

How can we not lose the odd gem, well we can't do a thing about it unless GCU change the way they do that first show page, perhaps randomize it rather than making it a constant, so it changes with "New cards" not stagnant as it is now, and the majority of cards lost in the cyber world, or your little store Wink never to see daylight until someone chances upon it as it were.

The only thing available to us not to lose the "single beautiful card" is to self advertise, plus one man’s food and all that, that beautiful card may not appeal to another so it's a catch 22 situation, hopefully we all make beautiful cards or at least that is our goal as artists.

Advertise, throw yourself around out there, if they see it they will come, twitter it, do whatever it takes to shine that card, as an artist it's all you have, and all you can do.

At least I think that's what you are referring to Smiley not the best person really to answer flowery wording but it's the best I can do .... Wink

It probably did not need an answer it stands as read for all of us kinda. But there we go
