Won't List My Frankenstein Cards? (Read 794 times)

Jonice_134877 Full Member artist Posts: 203	Won't List My Frankenstein Cards? Sep 27^th, 2009, 7:40pm Here I listed my frankenstein cards for Halloween long before some of the other cards and the other cards get approved. So what is up with that?

Hi Jonice
It`s only a guess but it`s likely that the name and concept of "Frankenstein" are copyrighted, so if you use the name or "likeness" of Frankenstein/Frankenstein`s Monster on the card or in the keywords then they will probably not be approved. Try listing just "monster" or similar wording. Hope that helps

We do not see any Returned or Declined cards. There are 2 cards still Pending with Frankenstein if you're referring to these: 494712, 494705

I believe the delaying issue is if the subject matter (the physical Frankenstein toy/figure you have photographed) is a trademarked object itself.

For example we do not allow cards with photographs of recognizable items/characters like:
Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Beanie Babies, Steiff collectibles and the like which are trademarked.

Please be confident that your toy/figurine is not a trademark protected object.
