New here

I just joined and wanted to say Hi and ask one little question, how long does it usually take to have your cards reviewed? I have been reading many of the posts in this forum and this seems like a really friendly site, so I am hoping to become a part of it. Thank you. Smiley

Hey guys - welcome to the show...take you place and break a leg...or whatever it is artists do...

Approvals normally take around 2-4 days on average but it can take longer if the cards have 'issues' you will probably get more than few that may baffle  Huh and astonish  Shocked you but safe to say when we are busy the reviewers are probably busy  Grin

Good luck!

Welcome both of you!  How fun, a team effort!  Love your store and can't wait to see more cards.  Yup 2 to 4 days without 'issues'.  If you can keep in mind what the reviewers look for and what GCU expects, you'll learn a great deal and have lots of fun selling your cards!

Don't be discouraged when your cards come back for changes in category or profiling, all of us have been through that and if you look at it as a learning experience, by the time you are creating card #500 you'll have it down  Grin

Tune in anytime to the forum when you have questions, we'll all here to help each other.

Good luck!!

Welcome to GCU, Ed.   That first card -- for 50th anniversary -- is a stunner!   Love your store banner!

Seems I did something right. My cards are making it through the approval process, so I now have 4 cards. Only one got sent back for edits. I was waiting to make sure I wasn't making mistakes, so now I will have to get busy and build up my store. If you have time, I would love to know what you think so far.Thanks.

Welcome - I'm pretty new here too, since the beginning of July and already made one sale, you'd think I had sold a million, I was so thrilled. LOL
You have some beautiful cards, it won't be long before you sell one.
Keep the faith!

Welcome all!

Gee, it seems like I was just new here, time does fly.

The best advice I can give you is to read and participate in the forums. Most of the questions and problems I had were already answered in the forums and I found lots of support and help here.

The forums allow us to know we are not alone, that makes a big difference during those frustrating "no sales" times. The help you get here can help you become successful faster with less hair pulling.

Hi Ed,

Welcome to the GCU family.  I'm sure you will feel right at home.  As far as card reviews go - I'd say between 1-5 days.  I just posted some cards on Thursday and they were approved this morning - whoo hoo!!

Thanks Angie, I have seen that the review time is pretty quick, I am happy to say that I now have 12 cards in my store. 12 out of 12 approved so far, I am a happy camper. Thanks GCU!

Thank you so much Denise, what a nice thing to say. I am happy to say that I did have one sale, for 10 25th Anniversary cards. I hate to disappoint, or maybe surprise you, but I don't have "That vector thing going on either" I've been experimenting with Illustrator, but have found it awkward and difficult to learn, so for now I work in Photoshop. Thanks again for the welcome and the compliment. I wish you much success also.
