Like many of you I am a member of Squidoo and Zazzle.  I just created a second Zazzle shop called PAWSitively PETrageous where I am featuring tees and such with some of the great art I created for my GCU cards.
 
There is a contest running this month for the top 5 Zazzle shops and I'm in the running. If you are a member of Squidoo and have a moment, maybe you could go vote for my shop using the little arrow on the left of the shop name.  Go down about half way on the page and you'll see Vote for Your Favorite August Contest.

I tried to find your Zazzle store but it must be called something different than Grandma Sandy  
 
It does take some effort to be seen here at GCU and by the search engines.  I love Squidoo and have a lens I use as my monthly online newsletter which I email to my mailing list.  Then every month I make sure all my stores & sites have been updated and submit them to the search engines.  My visitors and sales are growing steadily with each month.  
 
I wish you success in both your GCU and Zazzle sales.  In both stores, more is better.  When you think of the number of designs you are competing with, the more you have, the better chance you  have of being the design that is found and purchased.

NICE WORK...how much time do yu spend on marketing...to update and submit each month...I guess I should do it, whether I have the time or not.

So far, I have spent very little time marketing.  
 
But I used to have an online store, not connected with any other site, just on my own where I sold vintage toys. I also sold the toys on eBay. I did my own marketing and was doing quite well. I even had a waiting list of people looking for a specific line of Fisher Price toys. It has been a very long time ago, and I have forgotten most of what I did to market my site.
 
I did join web-rings for people who sold toys, and placed my site on www.adme.com I was pretty high on google.
 
Even though I have not marketed toys in several years, I still get an occasional email from people asking about toys.
 
I do know that once you get the marketing in place, the time you need to spend on marketing goes way down. Your ads will draw traffic without you doing much, once you get the word out.
