Hi there... I've got several waiting too but as a newbie I'm just honored to have the opportunity to be here and nothing's been rejected yet.  It's the weekend - I think the reviewers deserve some time to themselves too.  I've noticed a great many new cards being put up each day and I'm just amazed with the volume - it must be difficult for the reviewers to keep up.

Hi Priscilla, Smiley
It seems to take the full 4 days to get approvals now, I have some more in the queue. I had a batch come through yesterday, they are moving through them. When you look at the 'new cards today' and 'total to be reviewed' numbers they don't always seem to reflect the numbers accurately, or in real time. I checked that after a number of my cards were reviewed and it said new cards today 7, I had more than that approved that day.
I guess I am just saying they seem to be working through them. They seem to have so many nowadays it must be overwhelming.

Yup!  I'm in that line too Priscilla Smiley  I only have three...as I don't usually do the bulk thing mainly due to time constraints at my end. I've been waiting since Friday I think, (I always mean to make a note when I submit, but forget!)
That's not that long, but seems long when you're waiting Wink
I know Mindy's gone on holiday, not sure if she ever does any reviewing, but it's the weekend and maybe that's why it's slow. Mind you, it's been pretty slow other times too and it has been a weekday!  Grin
How long does it take Priscilla to get 100 cards up and ready for the reviewers? Just curious! Smiley
p.s. When I started this post, there were no other replies.....now there are two ahead of me!  Jeeez am I slow or what?

yes, I'd be curious too - especially being new... do you make cards full time?  I am teaching summer school right now so this new venture is fit in between - especially since I haven't been able to get outside to do any photography as much as I'd like.

Can't blame me Priscilla, I haven't added a card in weeks!  I need to come up with something new to get me motivated.  Perhaps nude pet cards, or has that been done?  Grin

Actually a PET category under Love and Romance might be popular, what do you think?

Can't wait to see your new cards!

that actually might be a really good one - more categories under pets... I know people who have yearly "Pug Parties" for the local Pug aficionados and I've seen 'weddings' of dogs on the TV News... People who are true animal lovers spoil their pets rotten (I know I do!).  One lady - rest her soul - used to send me a gift bag of goodies for my felines and another for my dog.

Yep, I'm in line too.  I really think it is taking the full 4 days now to get approval.  In fact, I have some that are out there longer than 4 days -- don't know what the hold up is.  Sometimes they make new categories for me (and that can take longer), but this confuses me some as there are cards just like mine in existing categories.  I just go with the flow...but I do understand your frustration.  We make a card and can't wait to see it go up and see if someone will like it.  Hopefully, today will be your day Priscilla for approvals.   100--wow that is a lot you have made.

Smiley Hey Avis, I have been working on this batch for about 2 and a half days. Of course, I have no kids at home, any longer, a husband who works, then couches it ... soooooo I hate to admit that I spend around 10 hours a day on my computer, creating cards & products for GCU, zazzle, RB & Fine Art America. I mostly create for GCU & zazzle ... my two favorite places!!

PS ... I do take time out to cook, clean, shower, sleep, do laundry & many other things ... but the rest of my time is glued to this darned computer!!

That's great, Prisicilla... and I know what you mean by being glued to the PC... between research for lesson plans (I'm new at teaching and constantly looking for helpful tips and ideas) and my love of digital photography, I'm glad there is no hubby or kids (unless you count the furbabies).

Just curious, how does one look for the number of cards queued for review?  I'm still learning to navigate around here... Tongue

Wink Hey Tom ... I am sure your strange & wonderful brain could not possibly be out of ideas!!??
How about gay pet love?? I saw a piece on 2 male penguins that were lovers ... lol  Grin

Your cards & ideas are some of the most clever here on GCU!!!

A good way to stimulate your brain matter, is to check out other's cards, just to get ideas ... you never know what verse or image may move you in a creative direction!

Please keep em coming ... Tom!!  Wink

Thanks Priscilla for the info., I can't wait to be retired and then I'll be in your league....maybe! Grin
I find since I started these stores, (I'm on Zazzle too as you know, and a few others, but these are my favourite 'babies')....I don't get near as much housework done as I used to!LOL! It's definitely a bit of an addiction...I haven't even had my morning coffee yet!
I know as the time flies when I'm doing this, that it's a 'passion' and wish I could spend more time at it.  I sit so long, my ankles get swollen sometimes...that's not good!! Shocked
I think I need that laptop I keep saying I'm going to buy! Then I can sit with my feet up and relax while I work!

Smiley Ahhhhh Avis, I swear, the first thing I do is make me a cup of tea (hate coffee) reach for my meds & hit the computer room, where I have a window to watch the trees & skys to the left of my screen & a big TV over my right shoulder, sometimes it gives me inspiration & sometimes it distracts me!!

I'm still learning how to use PS & I love it. It is so much fun, but sometimes frustrating. I'm not very creative ... but I keep plugging at it.

Sometimes I feel like a zombie, sitting here trying to create cards that I hope someone will like enough to buy for a friend or loved one!!

The "New Cards Today" number is based on the cards that have been approved that were created that same day.

It isn't as relevant as it was when cards were reviewed quicker. It is a little less stimulating to see 70 new cards listed when actually 700 were reviewed.

My records show more than 7000 cards approved so far this month for GCU artists.
