Google has a tracking code # that is unique to each person's website. I have one assigned to my GC site, but where do I put it? The code is something like this --- UA-XXXXX-x and you are supposed to put it here somewhere. Does anyone know where to put it?

I've successfully installed it in other websites, and they have a place under "settings" to do so.

Hi Elizabeth,

You can install it here to but it's a little more complicated. In your Analytics account, choose your GCU account, click on Edit and then Status. You will find a box with the entire Java tracking code for your GCU analytics account. Copy all of that code and paste it into the Header text box under Look and Design>>Store Settings at GCU.

I hope this makes sense. I also have my StatCounter code pasted in the Header text box.

Hi Kathy,

You will find StatCounter at http://www.statcounter.com. It's very easy to install too. When you sign up for your free account, you create a project and for each project, a piece of code is generated. For GCU, you paste it into the Header text area as I described previously. You can have a visible counter or an invisible one. Lots of explanations at the site.
