Prisiclla_134572 Senior Member artist Posts: 294	Slow Approvals Jul 9^th, 2009, 6:20am is it just me or are the approvals almost at a standstill?????? I have checked the new cards section every day and have only seen a few new ones ... in DAYS! Are the approvers backed up from the holiday, or did they ALL quit?????? Just wondering .... Priscilla Hope all are having a good, productive day!

I am currently awayting arround 50 getting to be a tad unsure weather to carry on now or wait. These cards mounting up are going to shoot us out of the new card catagory Sad

I have noticed a bit of tweeking going on all morning so perhaps there are little updates, the birthday section went a bit weird with 0 cards at one point, it could be what is holding things up?

I have sent several emails asking how long it usually takes to get cards approved, but still have not had an answer! We've added just over 2100 cards since the beginning of the month.

This is about 230 cards a day, a little lower than last month but the 4th may have set them back a little.

lately they seem to do mass flurries rather than a steady chug, out of the 2100 done so far 910 were done in a single day.

I'd guess we'll have a big pile done today or tomorrow.

As I said before, I keep checking the new cards category, because I like to look at them and comment on ones I like ... but it has been very stagnet for the past several days ... only a couple of new cards added!!!! Do you have a pile of "waiters"?

I only have a few cards-in-waiting at the moment. Approvals have been slow and I have found other things to divert my mind.

I do remember the painful days, waiting, checking every hour, wanting my creation to spread it's wings and fly free... then, seeing it arrive with a whimper, so far down in the new cards that the next approvals pushed it off the end and it was never seen again.

I've gotten less hopeful, less expectant, but, never less proud of my artistic misfits. I now expect they won't emerge into the spotlight, but will linger in the shadows and cul-de-sacs where now and then, I hope they startle, surprise and delight those that stumble upon them. I fall asleep at night with the hope somewhere, someone has found a little bit of beauty during the day because they wandered off the beaten path and found an unexpected pleasure.

Jeff, you're right. The approval cardjam has burst. About 45 of mine submitted on Friday and Saturday were just approved. They are too old be be viewed on new cards, though. Here's a few, just for fun. Everyone here, I'd love to see some of your new cards that won't appear in the new cards pages. I know you all have beautiful cards that we haven't seen.
