How To Copy A Quote From One Thread to Another
Jun 2nd, 2009, 3:46pm

I saw this in another thread about an artist not knowing how to copy a quote from one thread to another and I've been scratching my head on that one also.  Can someone give us a quick lesson on how to do that?  Thanks.   Huh

Look on the right side of the post you want to quote. You'll see a (very) small link that says "Quote." Click it and a reply box will come up with the post quoted in it. You can now add your own text.

Now if you wanted to take that quote from one thread to another thread, I'd guess you need to cut and paste.

when you cut and paste you can make your own quotation [    quote    ]  text here  [  /  quote]

But make sure there are no gaps in the squared brackets etc Smiley
text in this bit... then close the quote with a [/qote]  (spelling wrong there so it shows up Smiley)

You end up with a bit like this

same thing for [b]Bold Text [   /b  ]
Same thing for Colour then again close the bracket [/    color]

That was simple enough. We need some of those codes so we can start practicing.  Thanks.    Wink
