Inside text that I didn't put there

I noticed on Big Dates that this card http://www.bigdates.com/community/viewdetails.asp?pid=316544&page=1 which is supposed to BLANK (I never entered any text) has a saying inside that I NEVER entered in a font that I NEVER would have chosen for this card. Shocked

Thinking it may have been just in Big Dates I checked reminder center: https://www.reminder-center.com/community/viewdetails.asp?pid=292721&page=1 and same deal. Back at GCU I saw it was also there: http://www.greetingcarduniverse.com/community/viewdetails.asp?pid=429291&pag e=1&aid=131365. Thinking it may have been something a shopper put in and decided against, I checked clicks and the card has NOTsold or even been clicked on.

What's the deal? This may not seem like a big deal, but I do not want sayings or font choses put on MY cards that I do not choose. Blank means blank. Anyone else had this problem? undecided

I haven't checked any of my other blank cards, this was a recent upload. I checked the card approval email and it was a straight approval (no: "with comments") I certainly hope the card reviewers aren't "adding" text and not letting us know!?! Sad

I see "Missing you" when I click on the larger view. Is that the message you're getting? Because of the font, it almost looks like a ghost message. I haven't checked any of my blank cards, so I don't know whether that has happened to me. I love this Maine card. Hope it gets straightened out. If you edit it, can you delete the text or does it keep returning?

If you don't go to Large View, then it appears as Blank, but Missing You, light gray, is there in the Large View. Made me wonder if it's something that a customer put in when they bought it, but then I remembered that you said it had never been bought. That is really odd. It's kind of like when we create cards and someone else's text shows up momentarily. It's been awhile since that happened, but no one has mentioned that the other text stayed. It always went away on mine. This is a new bug! Shocked

I had this happen last year on a Thanksgiving card, however, that card did sell and the altered verse appeared after the sell. Unlike your card, though, my card had a verse in it to begin with. I don't know why, after the customer changed it, (if they actually did, I'm thinking now) it didn't go back to the original version. Odd. I know that one of the draws of this site is the the customer having the capability to change the inside verse. I have issues with that, but I'm dealing with it. I always think that the verse I write in a card is the perfect verse for that card. How's that for embarrassed

egotistical. That's a really nice card, by the way.

Ernestine, I regret to report that I also could see - in the large view only, at all three locations - the inside text, "Missing You", in pale grey. How upsetting for you! I'm sure, though, that it is an electronic error that can/will be corrected. Not to make light of your justifiable annoyance, but such weird things happen from time to time for no good reason. I suppose it's lucky that you happened to catch this one, and I hope it's fixed quickly.

Thanks for letting us know. It would appear as though it's a problem with the Large View preview image on that page. If you add the card to your shopping cart the inside is blank. In fact if you look at the large view once it's in your cart, the text is no longer present. Our programmers are looking into this.
