The New Menu version, A or B, whichever it is, gets a great big F!  Angry The search does not work in the version I get, so, as a customer, I'm not wasting my time here.  Sad I'll go to a site that works and spend my money there.  Sad This is a really bad problem that needs to be fixed ASAP. Please, GCU, fix this problem so we don't lose customers, sales, money. cry  Thanks.

the search feature is working correctly now on that variation page.  Let me know if you still have trouble with search.

Greetings Smiley

Our A/B testing showed better conversions with old format for the category pages, so we switched it back earlier this week.  We did however add a link at the top to allow shoppers access the Category view if interested.    We'll be doing more tests on the left navigation, so if you see funny variations, you'll know why.

We're trying to test out different approaches to give access to the Category view without disrupting the original view/format.

Thanks for all your patience.    If you see any strange behavior, please let us know.

Thank you Shaun and Nasser. Sorry if I was a bit "over the top" about the menu earlier this week.

Hi Nasser,
My initial reaction to this old (new) set-up is good. I like the clearer use of the left hand side Card Categories box too. May I ask one other consideration that I had brought up recently.

Is there any chance of displaying ALL the card page numbers to browse. As it is right now we can choose pages 1-5, then choosing 5 gives you only pages 6 & 7, it discourages customers from digging deeper into those large categories. If all the page options were listed then they could jump into the middle of the pack and look at page 17 or 21 (I myself find this fun to do when I shop). This would then offer the possibility of some exposure for the cards buried deep into the categories beyond those first few pages.

Thanks for all your work on this.

Pamela

Pamela you are right on.  This is very needed everywhere there are page numbers.

It should be easy to add and there are a variety of ways that will work.

Nasser -

I just wanted to report improved store visits and sales since the change back to the "Old Menu."

I also LOVE the collapsed left sidebar category method, such as when one is looking at Birthday>>For Family Relation Specific, where you now aren't showing all the subcategories under birthday.  It makes the list much shorter and it cuts down on scrolling.  Good idea!

I also noticed several "current" categories, such as Graduation and Father's Day, are now listed in the page header row.  That is also brilliant!  I've already used it myself to find some of my own cards.  Very smart.

Thank you!

Tom
