Mindy,
Help!  cry
I have found a category that I think needs some clarification both for artists and the reviewers.

I recently sent in some St Patrick's Day cards and they were categorized in the Holidays>St Patrick's Day Smiley but removed from the category Collections>Non-English-Other languages>Irish  Huh which does make sense since my cards are in the English language.
However, if you look at the category, as far as I can tell all the cards are in english and show a collection of Irish themed/patriotic cards including the St Patrick's Day cards.
That is why I included mine in there too since my research showed that this is the other place the St Patrick's cards are to be found.

I sent an email to the reviewers to ask if mine could go in there until this is sorted out.
My cards are 550852,550869 and 550824. Can they be included?

Thanks very much,
Pamela

Sorry for the delay...  I see your 3 cards have been approved and IMHO in categories that will better serve them than in the Collections >>  Non-English >> Irish.

The other issue has to do with needed clarification and clean up of the Collections >> Non-English / Other Languages >> Irish category itself.  These language subcategories are reserved for cards that are NOT in English.

I'm certainly not a linguist expert but here's a reference of history of the Irish language:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Irish_language

Lots of evolution here (primative, old, early, classic, etc).  It is of these "older" non-english sounding (for lack of a better description), the Gaelic spirited form of the language that should be put in the Non-English/Other Language categories.

Images that simply have to do with Ireland should go in:
Collections >> Places & Cities > Ireland
http://artist.greetingcarduniverse.com/Collections-Places+and+Cities-Ireland?cid =521

Hope that helps clarify.  We will clean up the category removing cards that are not in Irish.

I came across a card, ID# 552666, for St. David's Day (which now has its own sub-category), in Collections>>Nat. & International Days>>Other (probably put there before the other category was created).

Thanking you,
Joan

For Pi Day, there are two pages and the second page doesn't seem to have even one pi card.

Mindy,
Thanks for the reply to the Irish card dilemma! I just found this answer to my post, must have missed that somehow. Huh Anyway, yes my cards have been put in great categories, very happy with the selection, I must have missed those when I was looking around. Thanks to the reveiwers

And the non-english>Irish looks rightfully non-english Smiley.
Thanks again,
Pamela

Hmm, I don't see that issue.  1 card on page 2 with a 32 cards per page setting.   Huh
