Mouse Roll-over in Manage cards
Mar 12th, 2009, 1:05am

You know the small screen that appears when shoppers roll-over a thumbnail of a card? Well I'd like that in the tile view in Manage cards and in the Arrange gallery view too.  It would be very handy!!

Ideally, in our case, we'd like the content to be a little different than what shoppers see.  I'd like to see the full title, the Inside verse, the categories it's in, the keywords used, and the Artist note.  Not sure we need the image as it might take up too much space.  Mainly looking to get at the card info more quickly.

Wouldn't hurt to add this in the Store Report Cards sold view too, plus making these cards clickable to the associated manage card edit page.

Can do?

Noted, thanks!

There is an image rollover today in Arrange Gallery that lists Title, Inside Verse and Keywords.  Like that but with more info?

If anything page load time may be an issue, but maybe not.  It's on the Wish List.  Roll Eyes

Category would help as when we have several identical cards,  it would be easier to figure out which ones are in which categories.

Thanks for considering this!

I found 2 more areas -

1.  Profiling page has a thumbnail.  Either make it way bigger or enable a rollover as we sometimes need to see the image text to make sure we get the age or relationship right when we are doing a string of cards - it's easy to get out of sync!  Trust me on this!

2.  Upload area.  Same reason as 1.

Thanks!

I like those ideas, Tom. Us "older" folks have to squint and get real close to the monitor to make out what text is on the front of the card, sometimes! That would make life so much easier!  Wink

Sue I hope your glass magnifies from both sides.  Mine from work magnifies on one side and reduces the image on the other Shocked Grin         Norval

Ok, we've been able to accomplish most of this, unfortunately displaying the categories in the rollover is not possible w/o a great deal of work.  We've added image rollovers to these pages:

Manage Cards - Tile View
Arrange Gallery
Featured Gallery
Private Gallery
Store Report (w/ images linking to Manage Cards page when clicked)

Hope this helps!

The Cards Sold report page has the roll-over now but lost the stats, like the number of each card sold and the date.

Reported and should reappear shortly, thank you!

Seems to be working fine.

TOM please recheck and post back a link of the page where you do not see your stats.
