Sally, it sounds like that one slipped through the cracks.

I've seen requested cards go through very quickly in the past. I've never done any (that I can remember) but they seem to come up fast.  It is one of the features that sets GCU apart...request something and get it quickly.

Have you tried emailing the reviewers?

Good luck,

Thanks but this is the 2nd or 3rd one to have to wait a day or so.   Used to go right on up.
The original request went up on Mar. 10,   it's probably way late for that customer to see it now.

Oh well.     undecided

That's too bad, Sally. The few times I have had a card for a special request, they got it up pretty quick. I'd email the reviewers and ask. I know they've been busy, so maybe it just slipped by. I hope you get it up and make a sale!

Sally, this may seem like a dumb question, but when you sent your request to cardreview@greetingcarduniverse.com, did you use "Fast Track XXXXX" (X is product ID number) in the subject line?'

Thought others may benefit from my 'Eureka moment'! Smiley

Just wanted to report that I had several cards approved today that took a few days for approval but I am happy they did. The reviewers are doing a very thorough job on keywords and categories, which will benefit all of us and our customers.

On seeing the keywords they removed they were right to remove them, their point being to use keywords for what it 'is' not for what it 'could' be.
I see the error of my ways and the need to 'not add a few possible uses to the keywords' but rework the card to fit exactly into another use category. (I know this is not news to some of you but I got lost in enthusiasm somewhere lately)

I am going to try to be more focused with my keywords from now on to make their job a little easier
and am thankful for their diligence and will now try to double check the others pending (if I can) to help speed things along for them.

A few items to note...

First, yes many thanks to artists who jump in with answers and advice.  It's is greatly appreciated!   Cheesy

If you have a card for a Custom Request please send an email to FastTrack its review to:  review.cardreview@greetingcarduniverse.com

Lastly, I'm bewildered why you think or where you see that some artists are typically approved before others?  There is no preferential treatment with sequence of review.  Please let us know why/where you see this so we can investigate.   undecided

I had about 110 cards in the pending queue when I went to bed last night, and I have zero now!  I only had 3 tweaks to do based on reviewer suggestions.  Thank you GCU!

I like my new cards; a bit of a style change for me if you couldn't tell.  Here's a typical new one:

hey Tom
you beat me to it! your latest cards are truly winners. I have ALWAYS thought your cards were hilarious but now they look visually stunning as well. I love that you have experimented with fonts and frames etc  without overwhelming the photo, very clever!

Sally, two days is not long when you look at the volume of cards. It is increasing daily. On some of the photo sites I send my images to, I have to wait over a week at the minimum. This place seems the height of efficiency compared to them.
I think we can expect approval times to increase as the site grows and more and more cards are submitted each day.
