Keyword Expansion? (Read 997 times)

Jacqueline_135493 Junior Member artist Posts: 76	Keyword Expansion? Feb 27^th, 2009, 4:15pm Is it possible for GCU to eventually expand the numbers of characters allowed in the keyword section? I oftentimes find myself running out of room, and have to delete relevant keywords. Another 30 characters or so (at a minimum) would be extremely helpful.

A few other tips to save characters:

No need to add "s" to words (plurals), or " 's " to words as the search tool ignores them.
No need to repeat title words, added automatically and invisibly by GCU.
No need to include your category name, added automatically and invisibly by GCU.

There likely are a few more things like this. I went through this with Shaun last Spring; it was rather interesting.

The keyword field is 256 characters wide, which is a commom "sacred" computer value as it is 2^8. I think we may need to live with it, but using some of these other tricks you can likely get done what you desire. I'm impressed you use the full 256 characters! Probably is one of the reasons for your success, besides your awesome cards!

Great keyword tips! I'll definitely put them to use. I've definitely been guilty of using "s" (where I might put "flower" and flowers" as keywords - now I'll just put "flower")

Success? No, no, just "luck o' the Irish" - a lucky fluke to get a big sale. Kudos goes to Kathy, who sold 250! Amazing.
