new promo for new users

Greetings,

Last week we started a new promotion that appears on the back of all cards. It offers the recipient of the card a promo code for a free greeting card. This will hopefully entice new users to try our service.

GCU is bearing the expense for this promo, so Artists will receive their full commission on these free cards. BTW, the offer is good for new users only and does not include any of the shipping charges.

We hope this new offer will invite more people to visit and purchase from GCU.

Sounds like a wonderful idea.
Perhaps we artists could help GCU grow? Might we have a sign-up sheet where we can offer to sell our own cards at no profit to us, for a limited amount of time?
Perhaps GCU could point the new customers to one specific artist for the week? That way we could be on a revolving door?

At this point the promotion will continue as long as we keep printing it on the back of the cards. There is no specified end date at this time. We will watch activity and determine that as time goes on. The free card does not have an expiration date so can be redeemed at any time.

I'd like to emphasize, this promotion is a NEW CUSTOMER acquisition effort.

The promotion only appears at the time of print. It is not displayed on your online BOC images.

We've made note of select artists' willingness to offer cards for free for any future promo.
