I haven't come across Earth Day before and although I know about Thanksgiving I am not sure on the images to use or even the text!!

MARVELOUS!
Try adding text to your card front. You can use many of the images for several different occasions. Learn not to be locked into just one image---just one card. Perhaps one image could be used for ANNIVERSARY, BIRTHDAY, GET WELL, etc. and then as far as the BIRTHDAY and ANNIVERSARY, perhaps get even more specific--1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. And then how about just Blanks (or note cards), but I would suggest that the blanks or note cards be in addition to the specific occasions...
Your work is so lovely and I'm sure it is a window into a beautiful soul...

Im also in the Uk, so am not sure about a lot of the holidays, you can always do a internet search tho, I ind this helps.

Hello all!!
I am very new to GCU...also & am still quite unsure of all the different things that can done. I have already had several cards rejected...saying try again! So I tried fixing them and have re-submitted them...with hopes.

How does one add text to the front of cards on this site???? I am sooo used to my zazzle site.... where you can add text to the front left & right sides and back!! This site undecided

is a lot different!!

I may be good with a paint brush but technology is a bit more of a struggle. I am still trying to work out how to add text in Photoshop because it must be a good idea for cards. Watch this space!!

pricilla, you need to add the text to the card before you load it on. I dont know what program you create your cards in, but this is where you add the text. The text on the front of the card can not be edited, added through gcu. You are only able to edit the inside text. If theres a problem with the front text you need to go back to the original design then reload the image. If your unclear of why a card is rejected you can always ask for more feedback as to why, they are very good like that.

Beautiful watercolors, Rachel! As others have said, most of the sales on GCU are cards for specific occasions. I don't know whether text on the front is important, but I know that it helps to have the card profiled.

Your cards would be lovely framed, so in that case text on the front would not be necessary. Maybe you can do two options for each painting: one with text on the front, one without. Good luck!
