I wonder what is the disadvantage of this since so many do not offer this service. I invite anyone and everyone to chime in. Just curious about Ecards.

I have tried it a few times and a few friends have used it. GCU has not yet begun promoting this option - plans for the future, however. I don't check mine anymore - will again in the future.

No profit, why bother? Advertising? Could work if they buy it. But to look and not buy, hmmmm. That's just me. Give better reasons to ecard every card I have. I'm not sure about it all so I don't use that Wink

Myrna, Patricia--

I think until e-cards from our own shops have more marketing ability with e-cards they are mostly for folks that come to our store and want to get something out "quick." Yes there is no "money" in it for outside shoppers, but having a few on your your site that YOU send to folks can help get the word out for GCU in general.

There is talk about making the ''e-cards" more of a "promotion" tool, but other things have a priority right now it appears.
