Janet Lee,

I haven't seen those sites, so I'm just going by your statement that they say CU is permitted. If the copyright owner gives permission for CU, then yes, you may use it on your cards.

Janet,
It seems there are 3 types of copyrights that I am aware of.  The first is for educational, or non-profit uses, one is for use by designers in advertising, and other business and professional use, and the other is for selling on an item, such as a mug, T-shirt, greeting card, etc.  Most places refer to the rights given for commercial usage meaning the professional use (the first or second mentioned purpose) and not the greeting cards.  Often the license we would need for use on cards is significantly more expensive.  But, each place is different, so you need to look in the fine print to know for sure.

Thank you Ladies for clearing that up for me, I understand that they are each different in thier TOU. As long as its permisable to use outside work with TOU permissions..here in GCU. I can always email the sites to make sure they are safe to use on cards...and then save the replys.
Thank you again ladies...I love being a member of GCU!

Yes, you want to make sure you have the permission for "resale" vs generically "commercial use".  Often with resale there are unit/quantity limits.  When in doubt it's best to contact the source and ask.
