Thanks, Corrie. It occurred to me that I had changed topics, so I'll take your suggestion.

can we get any specifics like image size and stuff like that?

White stock is good.  I'd sorta given up on things here maybe I can start all over again

Hi Harry,
Is this what you're looking for re: the artist profile image?
*Please note the ideal image size for your Picture is 200 pixels x 200 pixels

How high can the image be at 185p and 200p wide without eating into the bottom trim area?  It looks to be a bit tight for portrait cards.

It would be nice to have the full "spec" on this image area.  For instance, will a "non ideal" image be warped to fit a certain area?

i wasn't sure where to put this, but i received the cards from the new partner today and they are gorgeous.  very satin smooth finish, not high gloss.  the stock was actually thicker than the last card i received from GCU, but then i was seeing some variations in the stock before.

they look more expensive so i don't believe anyone will be disappointed.  my card shop will not have the GCU cards due to some brainstorming with the store owners  and going a little different direction.  however i will post in the artist chatter later what the plan was for the GCU cards and how it could still  work for any of you in a similar situation to mine.

i just wanted to say these new cards are really , really very nice and have a more appealing presentation to them.  I think it was a good move on GCU's part and we can feel even more proud of our name being on the back. Smiley

Denise,
Thanks for the feedback on the cards. I'm so excited to hear the quality has improved with the printer change. I think I'll have to order some cards just to see what they look like! Wink

Hi Mindy,

The changes are great! Very pleased about BOC credits. I just received my first order from the new printer and I have a question about the finish. All my cards are set up for glossy finish and yet the new ones seem to be matte - do you think they made a mistake or is their glossy just not as glossy as the previous printer?

Thanks,
Lynda

Tom, are you working on the back cover of cards or can we do that on our own yet or is it up in some scroll file that I have to go look for or what. That looks cool and I'd try doing it if GCU has that up for us to use now, maybe, if it's up now? Smiley

Patricia,

Go to Images & Cards, then Back of Cards Credit Editor. THere you can set up the back of your cards. Good luck!

Thanks Dustin, er, how come the landscape gets the picture and and store web page and full name and the Portrait one doesn't? It'ws cool though. Do I have to do that to every card or will it do them all automatically?

You can have the credits on both landscape and portrait, but you have to set it up in the Back of Cards editor. Try clicking on the larger view and then saving the selections you make. You only have to do it in the Back of Cards editor to apply it to all cards.

I did that Dustin, it didn't show up in the portrait one, even when I blew it up bigger like you said and I did that before you even asked me Wink, is that a flaw that I can't see it but gets on it anyway sort of thing? I didn't want to save anything til I'm sure I have it right Wink.

I just looked at the Back of Cards Editor. It says "NOTE: Credits Preview will not change until you click the "Save Changes" button."

Did you hit "save changes" and then look at it again? You can change it any time, but you need to hit "save changes" at least once for it to show up.
