Remove unused cards.

Hello,

The more you upload images and more our bank of images becomes more difficult to manage. I'd like to remove 5 or 10 images unused (I have to go to the 20th page or more from "Create A Card"), when I remove one image the page returns to the beginning. And it's always like that. Sad

Then would it be possible to have a button that would allow us to view all the images unused (in "create a card") ? Or a special button that remove all our images unused ? On the one hand it would enable us to get a better picture library, more manageable and more flexible; on the other hand your servers will have a little more free space. Cool

Reply #1 - Feb 5^th, 2008, 9:23pm Hi, I think that if you go to "manage store" then the "manage cards" under the image you will see "delete card" (in the new 'list view'). I think that will work for you. Candy Love your cards by the way!!!

Hi Ya,

I found it so huge and unmanageable and did not see a reason for keep having them, after they were approved they were just standing there and doing nothing, so I have deleted all of mine and am doing so each time I have uploaded any for pending.
I have a copy of all my cards saved on extern harddrive and disks so I will always be able to get them if needed

But if you are using them again and again then it would not be a good idea to delete them

Just a note on how I am doing it

Hi Ya,

I have now searched and searched but can't find the lines Shaun had wrote about the cards uploaded to the "Create a Card" section was not linked to the actual finished and approved card, so when deleting it there it won't delete the finished and approved card.

I found this thread though, go to the bottom and read Ernestine's reply http://www.greetingcarduniverse.com/forum/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1201785266/1#1

I have deleted all my cards in "Create a Card" section, this means I will have to upload the cards again if I wish to re-use it for another purpose, but I find that easier than having to go through all the pages to find the exact one

DO NOT delete anything in the category "Managing Cards" that's your finished product

Hope this helps you some, or hopefully Shaun would re-write his explanation, it really annoys me that I haven't been able to find it fo you Ya!
