Shipping of Bulk Orders
Dec 13th, 2007, 8:28pm

Hello,

I was trying to search the forums and the FAQ's (hard to find info on the shipping stuff) about Bulk orders and shipping.  Are bulk orders also sent via USPS?  Is there a point where a different method is used?  I just wonder as I placed an order for some cards to ship directly to family and friends, but also a number of cards to be directly shipped to my address.  I got the message that all but one card (another shop) has shipped out.  I know for the single cards there is no way to track them as they are treated as 1st class mail, but wondered if that is also true of the bulk orders.

It would be nice to know when I would receive my bulk order of cards at my address.  Otherwise a note in the FAQ's saying how the bulk order is sent (if to one address) and approximately the length of time that one can expect to receive them.  Unless I am missing that information?

Thank you,
Colleen M.

Hi Colleen,

Good question!   Orders that are mailed directly to the recipient are always mailed via First Class mail from the USPS.  These cannot be expedited unfortunately.

Orders of 15 cards or more, to be mailed to the customer with blank envelopes, are shipped via Priority Mail from the USPS.  The USPS states that this method typically takes 2 to 3 business days.

We do receive tracking IDs for Priority Mail orders, I'll find out if we can have the ID included in the shipment confirmation emails that go out when an order is mailed.  In the meantime you can email me if you would like your USPS tracking ID (shaun@bigdates.com).
