New GCU Picks

New, GCU Picks! This is a new view on the Popular Cards page as well as a new factor in our "popular formula" that influences card display order. It will grow to be a seasonal collection of our collective staff favorites.

Not sales, nor clicks, not even the super secret popular formula influence which cards show up here. It's just our own twisted and varied personal favorites Grin

Mindy,
I just found a new place on GCU and went for a visit. It was GCU Picks. Imagine my astonishment, when I found one of my Valentine Cards as the seveth card listed there, out of twenty! I am on cloud nine, and YOU are MY Valentine!

Do you think you guys could consider notifying folks when their cards are chosen and that way, they will be sure 'not to miss it' ?

Yes, this page is seasonal. Our staff, at whim Roll Eyes

and with varied tastes, picks their favorite cards for the upcoming holiday(s).

Glad you get excited to see your card as a GCU Pick Cheesy

You should, it's been noticed out of a large population of thousands of cards!

GCU Pick cards get extra brownie points in the "most popular" formula which means it bumps up its ranking on the category pages - at least for the time that it's featured.

Hadn't thought about notifying the artist, that's an interesting idea. If easy to implement I'll put on our wish list. Thanks for the suggestion.

Being so wrapped up in trying to fix my website I haven't been here to read the boards in over a week. Well to my surprise I found that my Halloween card was picked!!! Cheesy

A very big thank you GCU, I am honored to be among some great cards and artists...

Mindy I would bake you some peanut butter cookies but I don't want my card to be pulled Wink
