They gave their lives
In the service of others,
Left behind wives,
Fathers and mothers,
Strong and brave,
They all stood tall,
It's Christmas now,
The time to recall,
Selfless courage & sacrifice,
They did their job,
They paid the price,
So that we might live in peace,
And pray one day,
All wars will cease.
