Santa soon will be coming your way
So prepare your chimney without delay.
Bake the cookies, make frappe.
Send kids to bed to speed his stay.
For he has many a gift to lay
Beneath your tree, then fly away.
There’s one more thing I’d like to say
About the reindeer and his sleigh.
Leave water and wax to soothe their way.
And Santa will give a big “Ho Hay”
As they disappear on the star highway!
