It seems like just yesterday I held you in
my arms and saw you smile for the first time
Then you began school and it was so hard
to see you walk off in excitement at the new
adventure that lied ahead of you.
When you turned 16, you got your first car, first
ticket, first accident, and before I knew it you were
off with friends to the mall everyday.
Next it was off to college and you brought your first
boyfriend home and there were many, and fortunating
you had good sense to know the good from the bad.
Now today a beautiful bride, soon you will be starting
your own family. At which time I get to spoil your children
as grandpa, and get to say when your mother was a child...
So remember my sweet little girl, you will always be in my
eyes my little girl, I'm only a phone call away and home
always has room for you, As does my heart.
