During this special time of year
We wish you Joy and Anointed cheer.
As we celebrate our Savior's Birth
And the Glorious Day He came to earth
We remember the truth behind the season.
A Branch came forth from the Stem of Jesse
With the Spirit of the Lord resting upon Him
Wonderful, Counsellor, The Mighty God,
The Everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace,
Alpha and Omega is what we call Him.
A Child is Born, A Son is given
From a Kingdom that has no ending.
Jesus, the Anointed One, is the reason
For the fancy tree of the season.
Jesus is the star shepherds followed by night
The light that illuminates the darkest night.
Jesus is the reason for the gifts we share
He's the greatest gift the earth ever bare.
So now you know the truth behind the season
For Anointed Celebration Jesus is the only reason!
