Thank you seems so feeble to encompass what you gave
You fought and protected us so our flag could still wave
The hell that you endured the sacrifices you made
My heart fills with pride as I remember you this day
Buried on foreign soil or under a white cross on a hill
POW or MIA or serving still,
You shall always be honored in my heart and my home
I give to you my gratitude, my love, and my prayers
And wish for you peace, honor and pride
So with humble heart I wish to offer a simple
Thank You to all that have gone and all that will go
Memorial Day and Veterans Day are simply not enough
So I thank you every
day for my freedoms and my life.
