I'm at the end of this life's journey and
the end is very near.
I can't leave this life without saying goodbye
to someone so dear.
I've lived a wonderful life,
filled with happiness and love.
We've always stayed close at heart
When push came to shove.
You bring me much peace and courage
to handle this strife,
It's not what I expected when
I thought about the end of my life.
