I'm at the end of this life's journey and
the end is very near.
I can't leave this life without saying goodbye
to someone so dear.
I've lived a wonderful life,
filled with happiness and love.
We've always stayed close at heart
when push came to shove.
You bring me much peace and courage
to handle this strife,
It's not what I expected when
I thought about the end of my life.
Thank you for all of your support,
the wonderful years and
all of the precious memories that we share.
I can't imagine what life would have been like
without you in it.
Goodbye, my dear Granddaughter,
I love you dearly!
