I'm at the end of this life's journey and
The end is very near.
I can't leave this life without saying goodbye.
That wouldn't be fair.
We've had a wonderful life together,
Filled with much happiness and love.
We stayed close at heart when
Push came to shove.
This gives me peace and courage when
It's my time to depart.
It's just hard to leave you
With a broken heart.
Continue to be happy in your lives and
Let be what will be.
I'll be watching over you and
I'll love you both for eternity.
