Even as a little girl, you've treated me with care.
You taught me how to be myself, and how to brush my hair.
You showed me how to read and write, and how to do my best,
and with all that Love around me, it took care of all the rest.
You've helped me in my dating years, and how to deal with boys,
and now that I have one of my own, I can share with you these joys.
So today I take a grown-up step, and say the big "I do,"
