About Me: Jan started painting seriously in 2001 after being diagnosed with colon cancer. Painting helped her focus on the enjoyable things in life while going through treatment. She quickly became a popular local artists, with several paintings accepted in jurored shows and several solo exhibitions. Reproductions of her work are now available online.
My Interests: Jan enjoyed painting, family, pets, politics, and travel. She worked as a researcher, consultant, and university professor. Her favorite job was being the teacher at a cooperative preschool.

Simply wonderful - soft and delicate, lovely colours, beautifully defined. "Garden Cat" would be one of my favourites, but it's difficult to pick just one...sort of like eating potato chips. Her work is so visually appealing.
