This card depicts an African Zebra drawn from a photograph taken while it was resting in Colchester Zoo, England. It is intesting to note that there exists a Victorian photograph of a carriage being drawn by four Zebras, the animals were imported for this sole purpose by a ritch gentleman who desired something unusual and striking for his personal transport.
