You are a man of quiet strength,
honor, faith and love.
You have always given of yourself
and praised our Lord above.
You held my hand;
I felt safe and secure.
You told me old time stories;
I lived them through your eyes.
I know I learned some of life's
most valuable lessons at your knee.
