No longer do we see you walking in the yard,
or sitting in your favorite chair, or working way too hard.
No longer do we sit and talk, sharing memories of the day.
Sometimes we'd sit in silence as the world would make it's way.
No longer do we see you, but we know that you are there,
for we have you in our memories and they are always near.
