Mom and Dad,
You joined as Husband and Wife
to form your own family, sixty years ago. Family
and loved ones watched your love grow even
stronger over the years, with all that time brought
to your table. The blessings and joys, the pain and
sorrows came to you individually and collectively.
United as a family, you took what came. You did
as the multitude of couples before you had done.
You huddled together and gathered your family
in under your wings. You did laugh and boast,
pray and coast, and yes, you loved the most.
Oh Mom and Dad, I am so happy you found
each other and formed our precious family.
