About Me:  I got my first camera when I was about 8 years old and, following my father's and grandfather's example, have been an enthusiastic photographer ever since. Over the years I used a variety of cameras – point and shoots, SLRs, pinholes – and film types – color, b&w, slides – before turning to digital photography in 2005. I'm fairly eclectic in my choice of subjects, which include travel photography, local landscapes and nature photos as well as still-life and macro photography, and styles, which range from straight-from-the-camera-photos to heavily-photoshopped.
