About Me: My paintings and drawings are very suitable for greeting cards of all types. I have been an artist living in Chicago for more than 30 years and am well known for my watercolor paintings of orchids and other flowers as well as for my large scale abstract acrylic paintings. My Interests: I have been an abstract painter interested in color relationships and abstractions in the urban landscape for most of my more than 40 year career.
For the past two years I have been very fascinated by orchids and other flowers. Not any specific flower but the idea of flowers in an abstract sense. I am not trying to be realistic, but I hope these flower drawings express the joy and wonder I feel about the flowering plants that surround us wherever we are.
The paintings I have used for these greeting cards are small watercolors and colored pencil drawings about flowers. Most of them are about orchids. That is, thinking about flowers in an abstract sense.
Flowers are so expressive of feelings that the images are perfect for any kind of card that is designed to say something.
If there is a some particular message you would like to see on a card, just let me know.
