About Me:  An Arkansas listed artist that paints primarily in the mediums of watermedia, but he creates in other mediums as well. G Owen likes to paint landscapes, florals, and wildlife mostly, although he loves the challenges of other subjects. Although the artist is primarily self-taught in art, his collegiate education and experience are in the areas of biological science, environmental science, forestry, and conservation. He continues to learn his craft through major art magazines, book publications, and participating in the local art societies learning from fellow artists in which he socializes. He recently began participating in the Museum School at the Arkansas Arts Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. By participating in the the Museum School he hopes to enhance his abilities by continuing to learn from other artist instructors. All these experiences has definitely influenced the manner in the production of his art. G Owen shows his art throughout the region by participating in local shows. He is a member and President of the Arkansas League of Artists.
